If you go into Costco, and your shopping list is small, the best thing to do is to not take one of their over-sized grocery carts. These carts are designed to get you to buy more than anticipated, and these carts are exceptionally large. They combat this obvious size difference by making the aisles much larger, and the shelf heights ludicrously high. These are subtle things that the average consumer may not take notice of, but will eventually lead them to spending too much money while shopping at Costco.
