Poetry: Breathing

by Edna Harris

Created on: October 02, 2010

My day starts out with a shower.

dress for work, breakfast and brushing my teeth.

I am in a hurry some morning.

Driving fast, waiting for stop light to change,

I sat in my car as they change to red, yellow and green.

I am always happy to see green which means to go.

sometimes yellow , which means you can go with caution.

and with red I sat breathing hard especially if there is a lot

of traffic.

And if I am late for work , I am breathing hard as I enter the work place.
