One of my favorite herbal remedies to use when I am suffering from a server headache and nausea is rosemary herbal tea. It helps ease the pain of the headache and helps soothe my nauseous feeling right away.
The reason why rosemary herbal tea works so well for relieving headaches is because it contains a compound in it called rosmaricine. Rosmaricine is a compound that relieves pain and inflammation the same way aspirin does, but without doing any damage to the stomach. A matter a fact it helps soothe the stomach when it is upset and helps ease digestive issues. I personally like to use rosemary herbal tea to help relieve tension headaches caused by stress and migraine headaches. I find rosemary helps relieve those types of headaches better than over the counter pain relievers.
The way to make the rosemary herbal tea is by placing 1 to 2 teaspoons of dried rosemary into a tea cup. Then you boil a cup or two of water on top of the stove in a tea kettle. After you pour the boiling water over the dried rosemary and allow the tea to steep for 5 to 10 minutes. Then you can take a spoon and scoop all the dried rosemary leaves out of the water and you will have a nice rosemary herbal tea to sip on to help relieve your headache and nausea.
Now before you use rosemary herbal tea to treat your headache and nausea you should talk with your doctor to make sure it is safe for you to take before using rosemary to treat your headache and nausea. There are some side effects with taking rosemary herbal tea such as possible allergic reaction and epileptic convulsions. Rosemary herbal tea can even be extremely poisonous if taken in large doses and could potentially lead to death. However, these side effects rarely occur but like I said it is important to talk to your doctor before trying this natural herbal remedy.
I hope this rosemary herbal tea remedy helps all you out there suffering from headaches and nausea like I do sometimes. I wish you all the best with feeling better soon and getting rid of that nasty headache of yours. I know this natural remedy works well for me and I know I will be using it again in the near future to help relieve other headaches I am sure to get.
