There are so many different food gift baskets that it is hard to come up with a unique one, let alone several, but this list should qualify as unique. With all the companies creating gift baskets lately, it is normally easier to just buy a gift basket, but you are paying more for the basket and stuffing then for the items inside. If you want to make a truly unique and personalized gift basket, you need to create it yourself.

Breakfast is one of the favorite meals of the day, but putting together a gift basket of breakfast can be difficult as you don't want to have any perishable items in the basket. The type of items you could add would be pancake or waffle mix, syrup, biscuit mix, gravy mix, a package of English muffins or bagels. If you want to offer the perishable items that would be needed in this type of basket then you could add a gift certificate for the grocery store, so they can buy the items. To finish off this basket you could add different types of jellies, some simple recipes for different breakfast items, a frying pan or omelet pan, and kitchen utensils like spatulas and beaters. If you want to add a different look to it, they also offer kitchen utensils that look like eggs. They have an egg timer, an egg whip, an egg spatula and many more. Go explore and you will be surprised what you will find.

If you have a grilling enthusiast in the family then a grilling/BBQ basket would be a unique idea for them. You can add items that deal with grilling, like aprons, pot holders, grilling utensils, and a lighter. If you go to a sporting goods store, you can normally find different types of lighters that should fit your grilling enthusiast. They have lighters that look like fishing poles, a giant match, a gun and many others. Something different you could add to this basket would be a sample of unique types of wood that the person can use with there grill. Even though most grills are now propane or gas, you can get them a wood box that fits into a propane or gas grill that you fill with wood chips and gives the smoky flavor to the meats. You could also add to this basket a gift certificate to their favorite meat market so they can pick out the food of their choice.

For an older lady or even some other women a tea party gift basket might be just the thing for them. You can get a nice teapot with a set of at least two cups to put into the basket. With the variety of teas you can also add instant coffee or even hot chocolate. As accessories for the basket,
