A face does not show what a heart feels,
there could be sadness, happiness, hurting,
unforgiveness,

TENDER MOMENTS

Cherished friendship,

Nurtured over coffee.

Years of sharing

Hugs without passion.

Each understanding

This

"Let’s go for a walk," she said

"I have so many things I need to say to clear my head"

I said "then grab your coat

If I Were an Ember

If I were an ember when I die, then the passion of hope would be truly satisfied.

For with my warmth

You ran outside to go and play

I called your name but to my dismay

No answer received I yelled up to you
