No one wants to go down the road I’ve travelled.
No one wants to switch shoes with me.
No one wants to follow the path I followed.
No one wants to see the things I’ve had to see.
No one wants to feel the hurt I’ve felt.
No one wants to touch the grass on my side.
No one wants to hear the screams I’ve heard.
No one wants to have the life I’ve been dealt.
At the end of the day, we choose the path we follow.
No time to linger no time to wallow.
Take the bullet and don’t live for the past,
Live your life your way: time flies too fast.

Repeating a cycle, a phrase or a word,
An attitude lived and a lesson unheard.
What's the allure, the gift
