I'm a very big comic book fan; I remember when I was young and use to wait for the release of my favorites. I am a very keen fan of Spider Man, actually of Peter Parker because he is an average human with the same problem as everyone of his age type. I'm even more intrigued when an adapted movie is being released. I recall going to the cinemas to watch Spider Man, I went through the whole day thinking about it. To be honest, there have been very disappointing ones as the years went by, but luckily, there have also been pretty good ones too. So I have decided to share my thoughts on the best (in my opinion) five comic book adapted movies with you.
5. The Incredible Hulk (2008) "Marvel Comics"
I went to watch this one with a little skepticism because of the Ang Lee directed Hulk (2003) which I personally didn't like one bit. It lacked everything a comic book adapted movie should have, great special effects, action, love story and a great nemesis. All attributes that The Incredible Hulk had. Led by Edward Norton in the role of Bruce "The Hulk" Banner, they managed to deliver quite an entertaining summer blockbuster with a heart. It wasn't just a popcorn action flick; Mr. Norton managed to give depth and soul to the gigantic green monster . My favorite parts of the movie was when Tim Roth was on, that man can really act. With other cast members like Liv Tyler, who played Norton's characters love interest, Betty Rose, and William Hurt who plays General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross (Betty's father and the man trying to catch Bruce ), you get yourself a great action movie with substance.
4. Iron Man 2 (2010) "Marvel Comics"
This is the sequel to the 2008 Iron Man directed by Jon Favreau and the character title played by Robert Downey Jr., who both reprise their role in the latter. This one is even better than the first, full of action and spectacular cgi. The Tony Stark character was tailor-made for Mr. Downey. This one is also full of big Hollywood stars, starting from Gwyneth Paltrow who reprises he role as Starks assistant/friend/lover/boss Pepper Potts, Don Cheadle who replaces Terrence Howard as his best friend Lt. James 'Rhodey' Rhodes and his sidekick War Machine, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, the beautiful Scarlett Johansson who plays Stark's new personal assistant Nathalie Rushman/Black Widow, Sam Rockwell as Justin Hammer (Stark Corp’s biggest competitor) and Mickey Rourke as Ivan Vanko, Iron Man's nemesis. The entire movie was well balanced with loads
