I first received a large tube of Fenjal Luxury Shower Oil  in the classic scent as a gift last summer. The packaging stated, "Fenjal Classic Shower Oil has a unique plant-based formula which gently cleanses and nourishes your skin as you shower. The combination of soap-free gentle cleansers and natural plant oils in Fenjal Classic Shower Oil transforms into a luxurious creamy lather, gently cleansing and caring for your skin. Treat your senses to the delicate fragrance of Fenjal Classic Shower Oil and discover the luxurious feel of soft, silky smooth skin."

This product is made in the UK, and the ingredients include: Glycine soja, MIPA-laureth sulfate, laureth-7, cocamide DEA, fragrance, isopropyl palmitate, ascorbyl palmitate, tocopherol, lecithin, cinnamyl alcohol, hydroxycitronellal, coumarin, butylpheyl methylpropional, linalool, citronellol, limonene. Based on the above, I am not certain what actual "oils" are used in making Fenjal Luxury Shower Oil.

However, my experience with the product was very pleasant. It forms a nice, soft lather, and the scent is not too strong, but has a pleasing scent, so it could be used by both women and men. And, it leaves your skin feeling very soft and smooth.

I liked my initial gift, and was prompted to purchase some for myself on-line since I did not find any for sale locally. I almost ordered from Therapieny.com, who offered a mere 6.75 oz. of the shower oil for $29.99. I found this quite costly for the size and performance, which was nice, but not earth shattering. Comparable shower oils, i.e., Nivea Shower Oil ($8.99 for 200 ml on Amazon), and the old standard, Alpha Keri Shower & Bath Oil (about $12 for 8 oz.) are a much better deal if cost is an issue. If not, the Fenjal Luxury Shower Oil just might work for you. A little bit does go a long way, so perhaps you may get your money's worth. As for me, well, I'm a product junkie and guzzler, and have never understood the less is more theory.

Fenjal also makes a Classic Luxury Cream Oil Body Wash, that is equally as nice, and works in both the shower and bath. In addition, you can purchase Fenjal Sensual Rose, Vitality Cream Shower Gel,or Fenjal Luxury Shower Mousse. The Fenjal has a huge family of bath products available.
