The basics of Ruby on Rails

Jump into Ruby on Rails

You will want to have a MySQL database and a web-server installed before you start
developing Ruby on Rails. You should be comfortable installing, configuring, maintaining, and working with both before you start installing and developing Ruby on Rails.
