Thank you, thank you, but I’d like to forget
Of all the memories, of all the regrets
I want to sit and pass the bottle
Until I can’t stand or only waddle
But I’ll always remember my little retreat
In an apartment filled with booze and beats
Music rocking with a party in the background
And all I do is pass the bottle around

Poetry: Pass the bottle
by Terrence Aym
"Pass the bottle Ghani,
It's my turn, you see.
You cannot hoard,
That jinn...he's my genie.
"I found it fair and square,
Underneath
by Helen Stuart
Pass the bottle one more time
I've got the salt, you've got the lime
For our bottle of Mezcal.
We're all friends here tonight.
Haven
Neon red light whispers
always open,
to me.
I remain eager to answer
the ring of their phone,
they always seem to
Pass the bottle
To help take away the pain of today
to forget the troubles that I have caused
and to forget those that have
Chilling on a park bench
Chinese Wine is passed around
Bay Rum is hoarded and choked down
C'mon and pass that bottle 'round
