War
Sand is everywhere.
The armor weighs you down.
The fear is always there,
bombs explode all around.
Always fearing death's grasp.

Sweat covers my body.
What's the weather sending?
Is this my destiny?
Where water equals life
and men mean to kill me.
Is my head in the sights?

Finally sent back home,
safe in my own country
But the demons aren't gone
because they haunt my dreams.
