There are seeds we like to chew on
There are seeds we love to plant
There are seeds in watermelon
That we spit upon our aunts
There are seeds we shake on salad
There are seeds we love to munch
There are seeds in songs and ballads
There are seeds in today’s lunch
But the seeds of loving kindness
Are the best seeds of them all
For the fruit that grows will bless us
As upon our life it falls
