These seeds I sow, they sprout no leaves
They sprout no fruit, they sprout no trees
These seeds I sow, were planted too late
They will not grow, it must be fate
These seeds I sow are dull and callow
It's not their fault, they were planted shallow
These seeds I sow hold within them me
My faults now scattered for the birds to see
These seeds I sow reap only pain
For it is nothing good that they contain
