Humanism is in no way a religion! A definition of  humanism is "the doctrine emphasizing a person's capacity for self-realization through reason; rejects religion and the supernatural". There is distinct misunderstanding or misinterpretation as to what being humane is or how humanity plays a role in each and everyone of us._The Bible teaches us the path of righteousness and where that path will take us if we follow God! Humanism is part of the emotion that stems from doing what is right or wrong. The Holy Bible teaches us to put God first not the flesh or ourselves.

Humanism is the opposite of Religion__it teaches "self-realization" . Self-realization as a whole is a very powerful tool which is can be used  very adamently in understanding why "we" as human beings re-act in the ways we do. In other words what are we made of? Are we just for ourselves?Or do we care for all? With humanity ,human beings , religion, politics and morality in such a state of disaray on a global level the World as a whole with all the wars, killings, acts of terrorism,crimes__it is not hard for anyone to be put to the test with such evilness going on. Our humanity seems to be almost non-existent. It is hard to see the good when there is so much bad!

In life you encounter many paths some lead to despair and loneliness and others lead to trials and tribulations every once in awhile you will find a piece of happiness. However, if you dwell on the despair, lonliness and all of that -you will not be able to enjoy that spot of happiness or truely appreciate any act of human-kindness. That is where self-realization works it's way in. Once the surface is fractured or slightly scratched you not only inviting the Good but you are also inviting the evilness in. Humans as a whole are very complex and fragile. You have to replenish yourself spiritually or the center will not hold!  Human-kindness is taught from the heart and soul. Humanism is the scratch you have on the surface! Distinguishing between the good and bad is where True Spiritualism is!

If you go fishing and happen to catch more than you can eat, will you release what you cannot eat or will you self preserve them anyways?  Summing it up the phrase" you are what you eat" tells the whole story! If we did not have all the Preacher's,pastors, sisters, brother's-all Christians praying for this World, this planet and each and every human-being on it!  We would be non-existent! Gods grace and forgiveness allows us to live! So, practicing what you preach is not really an oxymoron is it?
