How our faith helps us

“Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9

How does our faith help us? Faith gives us strength when we are weak, hope when we feel there is none, inner peace through rough times, and the courage to face any storm with absolute assurance that Jesus can and will carry us through.  Our faith helps us to believe in the unseen, hope for the impossible and believe that any mountain we may face will be moved through Gods endless power, mercy and love. Faith also helps us to believe in the good things to come; things we cannot see yet, but have hope we will soon receive. It gives us joy in knowing that God has a beautiful future planned out for our life; even better than we have and though we may have to struggle for a short time; we will be lifted to higher ground.

Faith helps us know that God loves us and sees what lies ahead of us that we cannot see.  When we lay our requests before God in prayer, through faith we can rest assured that God will answer His way and the best way.  We know through faith that even though we may not receive exactly what we asked for, that He does hear us and will do what is truly right for us.  Faith helps us know that God knows best, even though we think we do at the time.

Faith in God is the stronghold you need to get through everyday life and its many obstacles. It brings you a peace that is indescribable and joy unexplainable. We’ve all been given the seed of faith, but it is up to us to nurture it and make it grow. When your faith is strong, you are able to place in Gods hands the troubles and struggles you are going through and let Him handle everything. You know in your heart that God has already gone before you and made your way and because of that assurance, you are able to withstand every arrow the devil slings at you.  Luke 10: 18-19 says; “I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”  Faith helps us use the authority that Jesus has given us to overcome any tragedy, heartache or struggle we face.

In times when it seems we are in an unbearable situation, faith will take over and strength from The Lord will overcome. God blesses those who have complete faith in Him and He will make your way straight
