There are essential SEO tips that must be borne in mind when writing quality web content.  Compelling content is the prerequisite to getting higher rankings and more web traffic.  Therefore, it is important to insure the SEO and user friendliness of your web content.  In this article, I am going to discuss four paramount SEO tips for writing quality web content.  These tips work sensationally well.

♦  Unique and Original Content

Websites with unique and original content are rewarded with higher rankings and more visibility on search engines.  This results in generating more visitors to your content.  For this reason, one must never copy the content from other websites.  It is also important to be cautious if you use Content Creation and Content Spinning software.  The former software brings data from multiple sources and then creates a meaningful article.  After that, the latter software spins the article and creates different versions of it in an attempt to make it unique.  The content rendered from these two tools is not always original.  Sometimes it reaches 32% of uniqueness only.  Hence, one must be careful when using these content software.

♦  Keywords

Some writers spend much time conducting keyword research but they do not use and place their keywords properly.  Your main keywords inform both search engines and Internet users about the core of your content.  You need to ask yourself this question: “can search engines and users get the gist of my content without reading it?” If the answer is no, then you need to rethink the way you use your keywords.

Keywords must be mentioned in these places:

1.  Title Tag (the name of the web page).

2.  The beginning, the body and the end of your article.

3.  The article title.

4.  Headlines.

It is important not to overuse keywords because it can backfire on you.  Also, do not try to be clever with titles like newspapers.  The search engines can penalize you.  Make sure that the title is relevant to the content.

Writing “deciduous content” is not going to generate steady web traffic to your page.  You need to write “evergreen content”.  In other words, content that will always generate traffic.  Topics like ‘Lindsay Lohan jail’ or ‘Cristiano Ronaldo’s injury’ will drive traffic, but not for a long time. 

♦  Scannable Content

Reading on a computer screen is difficult and tiring.  You always need to break up your content and make it scannable for users.  Writing long blocks of text is not recommended at all.  If you do that, you will turn visitors away.  Google can know if visitors leave your website quickly with the Behavioral Search system.  If visitors leave your website quickly (this is referred to as having high Bounce Rate), your ranking will decrease.  Therefore, you need to make the reading experience as enjoyable and easy as possible.
