Ah....high school love. It seems so perfect. High school relationships can be fun but they can also take a turn for the worse, trust me I know. One day you will meet an amazing person while you in high school, you spend more and more time with them until you become infatuated with them. Everything seems to be going perfect and smooth but then things can take a turn for the worse. I have seen many friends and experienced the heart ache myself of the high school sweetheart leaving. It can have long lasting effects and can be very depressing for the person (the raging hormones don't help either). High school loves can turn out to be a good thing and sometimes even last out of high school, but the majority don't last more than a year. The main point of this topic and article is to help people understand, you can't let the high school sweetheart take all your love. You have to remember its high school and there are other people. The best thing to do is to stay friends with the person and get over it. It is a very hard thing but it is worth it. When you lose someone you don't want to lose it all, keep the friendship and don't ever lose hope. I hope everyone who reads this will keep hope in their minds and remember that its only high school.
