I am my own enemy,
and I know not why.
My senses have forsaken me,
and left me to die.
The world is my oyster,
the planet my plaything.
Why do I ignore
All the happiness it would bring?
A web of mistrust,
no beginning, no end,
Did someone misread
the signals I send?
I hold myself back,
when I should be letting loose.
Please brain, see reason,
Can we call it a truce?

Poetry: The enemy inside
by Austin Moore
I am my own enemy,

The world is my oyster,
the planet
by Moeze Lalji
The enemy inside
Is the soul
That lacks
Knowledge
To explain
To the world
His emotions
Of the world
To be sometimes
Only to
Always on the defense
Get ready to attack!
Whats the next battle plan?
Wheres the chink in the armor?
War is what I am involved
