A look at the new Yahoo Mail

In the world that we live in today, one thing is clear when it comes to the topic of Internet mail packages; there are simply a ton of them to choose from.  Whether Gmail or AOL, Earthlink or MSN, every company out there either has a package already released, or has one in the pipeline ready to be introduced.  For those that do have packages already out in circulation, another thing becomes crystal clear as well.  They who stand pat and rest on their laurels get run over by the rest of the pack in due time.

With that thought in mind, one of the world's largest mail providers, Yahoo, has gone through the process of revamping and reinventing their product, Yahoo mail.  For those of you that have used it, Yahoo has always provided a secure and dependable product that its users could rely on, but it seemed to lack a little of the pizzazz that some of its competitors do.  Being a successful company, Yahoo decided to not wait around and went through the process of making many changes.

Some of the changes are subtle and others will jump out at you as soon as you get into the product.  One of the subtle changes is improvements in the email filtering system that Yahoo has been employing.  Like many email systems these days, changes are being made to combat the every growing spam problem, as well as a number of other things that usually plague our email inboxes.  Now by simply going under the view tab within your mail settings, you are able to manipulate things such that you can now deflect unwanted junk out of your inbox, while preserving your mail from your important contacts needed on a daily basis.

Perhaps your one of those hard working business folks that is inundated on a daily basis with having to send attachments of various types and you hate the laborious task of separately having to attach each one by one and upload in the same manner.   If this situation describes you, then this new Yahoo mail is targeting you with its improvements in the area of managing your attachments.  They have created a tool which will give you the ability to highlight your attachments (that's right, multiple not just one at a time), and upload them quicker than before, while giving you the ability to manipulate the images and see the progress of multiple uploads simultaneously.  For social networkers, this can be a real luxury!

Want something that is going to jump out at you, as well as being aesthetically pleasing?
