Persons and cultures around the world view sin differently. They indoctrinate these different views through a variety of sources as religion, education, personal beliefs, family culture, regional culture, and country culture.
Religion contributes mostly for different views and beliefs regarding sin. Countries, regions inside countries, and regions of countries have different beliefs and religious practice. Respectively, these beliefs and practices contribute to the variety of differences in education.
As persons become educated within a culture, they begin to develop individual personal beliefs. A changing of personal beliefs results in agreement and disagreement toward their view of sin either outside their culture or within their own culture.
After persons choose their personal beliefs, they begin placing value on sin, for given situations. Family values and traditions form shortly after these decisions along with how they conduct family life style and business. As they conduct lifestyle and business, each family surrounds themselves by others that share the same values forming regions.
Persons residing within the region normally decide regional cultural views regarding sin. These cultural views may both agree or disagree with mainstream society of the country.
A country's decisions regarding views on sin were decided hundreds or in most cases' thousands of years ago. These decisions also laid the foundation of law and punishment regarding sin. Each law addresses the severity of sin and type of punishment allowable.
