On a Bench at Morrill Hall
When my eyelids cascade down to slowly close,
A drift of fresh air envelops my soul;
My first thought is you.
And then I can feel the curves ever so slightly
Shape upward until my bright face has made
A smile.
Your voice, your touch, your caring eyes
All cloud my welcoming world, and
Surrounded by your protective arms,
I can feel the love start to uncurl;
An aura of you blanketing me
As I drift and dream...
It's the first time in a long time
I've felt my heart beat.

No matter how far,
no matter how long,
Wherever you are,
No danger so strong,

Meeting her

The vision of you is set upon a glazing sky,
Made originally in heaven between those pearl gates
