I wrote several reviews on my sports gear since I started to jog and swim every day. Now, as the weather is not so warm in the evenings I had to do some research on autumn and winter jogging gear. I used to wear a cotton T-shirt over my sports bra. Then I put on a further layer of cotton T-shirt but still felt cold on my back. I jog 3-4 miles depending on how tired I am by the evening. After 12-15 minutes I start to perspire and soon the back of my cotton T-shirt becomes wet and cold. I read that I have to change the first layer from normal cotton gear to a special material which keeps the perspiration away from my body. There is a very wide range of these kinds of sports gear but I decided to choose from Adidas’s range as my running tights are Adidas too and I am completely satisfied with them.

The running tee

I checked the available tees on Adidas’s online shop (www.shop.adidas.co.uk) and decided to buy a short sleeve white tee with V-neck. The tee is available in sizes 8-16, mine is a size 12. The size is about average and the tee is close fit. The tee is quite transparent to be honest but I put on a jacket too so I don’t mind. It has an interesting cut as its back is slightly longer than the front. It came in a transparent plastic bag which was put into a cardboard box. It cost 17 pounds plus 4.95 P&P. There is 7% cashback available from Adidas shop so it is worth checking it on Money Saving Expert’s site.

Ventilated ClimaCool material keeps the body dry and comfortable. When you touch this material it feels like swimwear material however it has different structure as it is doubleknit. The material is quite stretchy but not as much as the techfit or swimwear. You can definitely feel that it is 100% polyester. If you had previously had a bad experience with polyester it will be hard to believe that this will work perfectly but it does. I perspired the same way as previously but I had no cold feeling on my back at all.

ForMotion cut actively supports the muscles for improved comfort and efficiency. When you put on this tee you feel that it quite close fit. The reason for this close fit is to support your muscles while jogging. It is comfortable and after a few seconds you forget you wear anything as it is like a second skin.

V-neck highlights women’s chest so you look good even when out for jogging. The V-neck is not very deep so this tee is not for showing off.
