Should the media refrain from using the term "terrorist" for the sake of objectivity and neutrality?

The media, the government spokespeople, and the American people should absolutely not refrain from using the term “terrorist”. Those who are initiating the move to refrain from using the term terrorists causes one to consider who they are loyal to, America or the terrorists. After the devastation and destruction that occurred on American soil on September 11, 2001, how can any loyal, American, who loves this country, ever consider not using the term terrorist.

Terrorists have been terrorizing the world for many years, they are evil-minded human beings who kill innocent people of all races, creeds and color and they do it without remorse or conscience. Terrorists have no value for human lives, they are driven by a force of evil and they revel in the devastation they cause.

Why does the leader of this great nation want to minimize the evils of terrorists by putting pressure on the media to refrain from using the term terrorists? What will be the benefit to our president or the people of this nation if we do refrain? Who will benefit from this refraining? Only those who have affiliation and association with terrorists will benefit. Those people who are willing to refrain from using the word terrorist want to soften the term, to disguise it to be something other than what it is, terror! To want Americans to refrain from using the word terrorist causes one to wonder what the government has vested in the worldwide population of extremists and terrorists.

It is appalling to think that anyone in America would ever consider softening the term terrorist after more than 3,000 Americans lost their lives on 9/11. What kind of message does that send to the rest of the world? What kind of message does that send to the many terrorists that hate Americans?

It is sad to see of late how the United States is seen as weak and foolish to other countries around the world, but it is even more pitiful how the Obama administration has portrayed America to those who hate us. When the president of the United States of America, apologizes to the world for the U.S. and he bows before enemy kings, he shows America to be a weak nation which would be vulnerable to attack. No other president has ever portrayed America as a weak nation until now, and that portrayal has discredited this country and it's people.

America has been fighting a war on terror for nearly a decade and now it is suggested to Americans that we do not use the term terrorist? That is absloutely, undoubtably, absurd!
