At the end of President Bill Clinton’s eight year presidential term, the national deficit was $5.73 trillion. After eight years of George W. Bush's presidency the national deficit was $10.7 trillion, the difference between the two administrations deficits is a total of $4.97 trillion accrued from the Bush administration. The deficit under President Bush was nearly $1 trillion less than the deficit left by president Clinton.

Nine months into President George W. Bush's presidency, on September 11, 2001 the United States of America was brutally attacked by radical Muslim extremists. This devastating act completely changed the president's agenda and focus of his administration. President Bush directed his immediate attention to protecting his country and it's people against further attack. War was ordered and has been fought to keeping America safe ever since. At that time President Bush juggled the war and all other issues facing America. Obama's government spending has no limits and the evidence of this is shown in the $700 billion financial bailout he gave to the corrupt financial institutions in this country. His uncontrollable spending is clearly illustrated in the $787 billion dollar stimulus plan that was crammed down the throats of hard working Americans. Obama has only begun, we have yet to feel the effects of this governments overspending! Obama's healthcare plan which most Americans were against, will dramatically change the medical treatment and medical costs that will directly, negatively impact the American people's health and empty
