My rise from sleep came with time on my side, says the man who is just waiting on a friend.
I wanted to see and touch the world today, all of it, top to bottom, from end to end.
My thoughts came alive with a voice "Can I see the world today? Is this possible, can this be done"?
"Of course it can" came an answer, "All things are possible thru Me. Me and my son"!
With haste and anticipation, holding the world in my hand, God as my guide, my travel began.
Africa and all her glory was where first I was led, "See how beautiful she is" was all my guide said.
My path came to a fork, with choices and road signs, "Choose all" came the voice, you have plenty of time.
Asia, my choice was a sight to see, colors of black and white and funny smelling trees.
We traveled country to country, me and my guide, the love in my heart watered my eyes.
By midday, sounds of drums were as loud as thunder, it was time for a rest in the land down under
Quitely remembering a fallen branch from a tree,
"Rejoice my child" my guide spoke softley to me
I understood then what that meant,
the tree stands proud of it's branch time well spent.
Continent to continent, oceans to shore, I'm sure I have never experienced a journey like this one before.
All corners of the earth I traveled today, I even made some very special friends along the way.
Royalty was I in the heat of the desert sun,
A voice assured me my soul had long ago been won.
I cried with relief when my guide spoke lovingly to me,
"Don't be afraid, by your side, I will always be"
Sun disappearing, it was time to go home, my guide did not speak, he did not have to, I knew I would never again be alone.
My travel was amazing and do you know why?
because I saw it all thru Gods loving eyes.
This poem was written from a broken heart
but it is not The End, it is The Start.
Who am I?
Do you know?
The Question is where did I go?

God's Love
Truth be told there is a love so immense
That could free you of any tear or fear
In unreal ways that
I see God.
