Poetry: Resurrection

by Tim B.

Created on: September 16, 2010   Last Updated: May 17, 2011

"Solidarity"

Solid as a liquid state

Moving in and out of hate

Breathing heavy and deep

Out of this window we creep

Souls splitting in twain

Darkness calling their name

Fortune honor and newfound fame

Fortuitous son was not to blame

Resurrect him in your heart

From there it's a good start

Righteousness will be again

Want not will you of sin

Resurrect the king of good

Better now for all we should

Trust in him if you would

Do only kind things understood?

Please listen to this poem

With open mind as you roam

Down paths of darkness you are on

Down paths of light it you will go son

Resurrect him above and you will have

Solidarity as you pave the golden waves

Streets of heaven after your grave

A resurrection now succinct in heavens enclave
