Daylight then darkness
Links in a chain working in unison
My existence snakes through the underworld
Stale air conveys a feeling of emptiness
Yet another presence
My eyes scan the darkness,
as if aided by infrared
What lurks in the shadows,
haunts the subconscious
Who's there?
What do you want?
The sharp glimmer of gunmetal,
exposes itself in a passing light
My life is in danger
What can I do?
BZZZZZZZZZZ
