How young people can get involved in politics

Politics is useless. Look at how we use the word, "politics as usual". We have come to accept the way things work today instead of getting up off our butts and doing something about it. Children must learn but before young people get involved in politics, we should teach them the way it works TODAY. I don't believe that children should learn politics in school. It is an easy way to perpetuate the same agenda that we face today. The government funds the schools, which in turn, teaches our children exactly what they want them to know. Just look at the history books. Columbus was the first to discover America for example is just a spin in a history written not by truth but by one man's truth. Our children do not need to be indoctrinated into a belief that is based on lies or half truths. We can no longer let other people dictate what our children learn.

We, should teach them. We should tell them of the real reason America was built, to escape political and religious persecution. And in doing so, our founding fathers did some unspeakable acts that hurt natives to this country, the people who founded this country way before Columbus. We should teach them about the system today, not the ideal system of yesterday. How certain lobby's can fund and pretty much buy a politician to further their cause. Or how the Federal Reserve is a private institution and they print the money for the US while we pay the interest with our illegal income tax earnings. How income taxes are illegal and we need not pay them. No where in the constitution or the bill of right or any official document, does it say that the American public is required by law to pay these taxes. (Check out the movie, America: Freedom to Fascism)

This is politics today. This is what the children need to know in order to save this country from greed and destruction. It is our duty as citizens, and the children of our founding fathers to stand and unite. We need to teach the future of our country the way to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. We, must stand side by side, with our children and guide them through a new age in politics, where the battlefield has evolved. As Abraham Lincoln once said, "The shepherd drives the wolf from the sheep's throat, for which the sheep thanks the shepherd as his liberator, while the wolf denounces him for the same act as the destroyer of liberty." We must be that Shepperd to our children no matter who denounces us, the life of our beautiful country is at stake.
