A drone so intelligent it can find anyone, anywhere on the planet at any given time. This drone is the Lockheed Martin RQ-170. This is the most recent aircraft to emerge from the military's black budget. This drone has sent the US back 58 billion dollars. The United States government hasn't spent that much on a weapon since we were in the cold war with Russia. It seems a lot of people are against the military building secret weapons. They may have to keep it secret so that no other countries try to develop it while we are still creating it.
Many people believe that when money from the Pentagon goes missing, they think it may be fraud, waste or abuse. Well they are wrong, it goes to secret military operations that are later revealed to the public. This system could be used to spy on enemy nukes and the leaders of terrorist groups. Once it finds the person, it tags them with a signature and then tracks them. Sending all info back to base.
They have already created missiles that can reach anywhere in the world in less than an hour. This drone seems to have cost a lot of money and I hope in the end it will be worth it. If not then there is fifty eight billion dollars down the drain. It is an advancement in technology and there will be more to come. Now if you believe against this plan to take down the leaders of many different terrorist groups because it costs to much money, then you may have a point. The only problem is that it may be the only way to take down these dangerous people.
Imagine if they had thought up this idea and they went after us. We would be left stranded at their mercy. I believe strongly in this program and think that the United States military should keep developing weapons to protect United States soil. Terrorism is a growing problem within our nation and many others, so don't forget that this is a war that we are fighting, and we can't always see what is to come. So we should protect ourselves and our livelihood now before it is to late to do anything. I'm also just glad that the United States developed it before any other country.
