Website reviews: Warrewards.com

Warrewards.com is a relatively new site often referred to as a "GPT" or "Get Paid To" site where users can sign up and earn cash or prizes by filling out surveys, playing games, or other simple tasks. Just what will someone get paid to do on this site? Well its really not known unless you sign up and become a member. Of course to do so would require detailed personal information and even entering a payment method. This should IMMEDIATELY trigger an alarm in someone's head as you've been asked for payment information and you don't even know what the site is offering.

The site doesn't even give a preview of what they are offering or what a user will get paid to do. The FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) link is totally useless and generic and often redirects users to go and fill out the registration form to be able to receive offers. Just to even see what they have to offer you need to enter your payment information. How much will you pay? Well, there's no mention of this on the site either. Wow, this site has scam written all over it!

From the "About Us" link it is mentioned that the site is run by an early 20-something year old who has been programming since they were four years old which also makes someone wonder how legitimate this site really is. It isn't a very complex site which seems to just have basic HTML code and of course some forms to collect your personal information. The site isn't what a typical 20 year programmer would build, but instead that of a newbie trying to get rich quick on the web.

It is impossible to tell what this site really offers and even its links to Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace are just as cryptic. Adding your payment information on this site would essentially be the same as giving your credit card to a stranger on the street and hoping they give you something in return. It is never recommended to give your personal or payment information on the web unless you are doing secure shopping from a known site and this site is far from that.

Even if this site is legitimate there is no way to be sure. There is no information on what it offers, the FAQ is useless, and everything seems to point to a way to take your money instead of letting you earn. If the site really wants to gain users then it needs to add some more information up front and show their offers before asking for payment information. It's a good idea to even have a virus scanning tool running when accessing a site like this as they have been known to ad spyware to a computer.

Warrewards.com is not a site that is well designed and there is no way to tell just what they are offering. It seems to be more of an online scam site to be avoided at all cost.
