The Many Health Uses of Magnesium Oil
To begin with this is not an oil, it just has the consistency of an oil when it is rubbed on the skin, so it will not leave an oily residue on your skin and neither will it mark clothes or bed linen. Rubbing this oil into your skin is one of the best ways to get the magnesium in to your blood stream, totally bypassing the digestive tract. It gets into your blood stream quicker this way and as taking magnesium orally can cause diarrhoea in some people, you will not have to worry about becoming dehydrated and probably losing magnesium from your body in that way.
Suffering from a lack of magnesium in our bodies can cause many different health problems, it has been noted recently that up to 80% of the population has suffered from a lack of this mineral. This is because, as a population we have over farmed our land, depleting the amounts of many vitamins and minerals that our food contains. Just a few of the common health disorders caused by not getting enough of this metal in our diet are:
nervous twitches
insomnia
joint pains such as rheumatism and arthritis
sporting injuries
This is only a short list of the complaints caused by not getting enough of this mineral in our diet. Magnesium oil can also help with high blood pressure and lowering bad cholesterol in the blood. You will find yourself having more energy, being less stressed and suffering less anxiety. If you suffer from cold feet or hands, raynaud's disease, magnesium oil will help with this. Many neurological disorders can be helped with this particular mineral oil as well as PMT and any menstrual problems.
Also, as magnesium and calcium work at opposite ends of the spectrum in helping the body, you will find that using magnesium oil will help with lessening kidney stones and gall stones. Magnesium oil also helps make the anti-aging hormone DHEA, so making you feel and look younger and as it helps the bodies metabolism you will find yourself feeling a lot more energetic and hopefully losing weight. It also aids the immune system, which we all need now as so many viruses and bugs are becoming immune to antibiotics.
If you are able to start using magnesium oil, as there are no side effects to taking magnesium in this way I do not see why you should not, you will find yourself feeling so much better. The symptoms of a lack of magnesium such as insomnia and disturbed sleep can be made a lot easier within a couple of weeks but the more powerful benefits, such as lowering blood pressure and the lowering of blood sugar in type II diabetes can be seen in two to three months. The only problem you may have is if you suffer from low blood pressure, you would need to get this treated by a doctor before amassing the wonderful benefits of this oil.
