"My first heartbreak" Excerpt from the novel "A heart fool of secrets" Chap. 1 "My first heartbreak"
It was colder then I thought it would be, I had no idea I would feel this way. I stared a long time at his door where the laughter and loud voices pierced my ear drums. I would kill him and get away with it because he was nothing but scum, nothing but a pebble in my shoe, a knife in my heart. Each second I stood there staring at his front door like some psycho off a horror movie, but then again maybe I was psycho, I wanted to bust down his door with a chainsaw and cut off his balls. Sadly, it didn't go that way. Instead I called him on my cell phone and asked him what he was doing. "Hey, what’s up...what are you doing", I’m sure he could tell the uncertainty in my voice, cause of course this wasn't the first time I accused him of cheating.” babe, why do you always think I’m doing something?, if we don't have trust..." I immediately interrupted him with a nice loud police knock on his door then ran. Yes I know childish but I had to know for sure he was cheating. I ran behind the tree, the same tree we carved our names in and waited patiently as he answered the door. A woman stood behind him, and I felt a sudden relief, in till the bastard kissed her and said “get back to bed”. Instead of walking back in the freezing cold with just a sweater on, I decided to knock on his door again. This time he delayed answering, so I called his cell phone. "Hey babe sorry I hung up, bad signal, what’s up I’m pretty busy", he said it so charmingly I almost fell for it, haha not. "Actually my love, I’m at the door" I got hung up on once again, and this time I hear all kinds of noises, and whispering. He opened the door very quickly, looking sweaty and a big huge "I’m caught" stamped on his forehead. "Oh babe what a surprise so glad your here, but I’m really busy cleaning and..." I closed his lips with one finger and entered his bachelor pad. I thought to myself to play it cool but I had something so much better in mind. "So pumpkin, does your slut know you’re a faggot?" I said it so loud I’m sure the surrounding neighbors could hear. He looked surprised but he knew that I knew, about his so called mistress but still pretended he had no idea. "I have no idea what your talking about Jonathan" he said my full name to sound more masculine, but what he failed to realize is his mistress already heard how feminine I was, and that I was gay and that he was gay. That's exactly why she came from the closet slapped him and apologized to me in so many words saying, "He told me your name was jasmine and you were stalking him"….
