How delightful, a birthday present for me
What a surprise, I wonder just what it could be
Oh darling thank you what a lovely pet
A little puppy. It's your best present yet
What shall we call him? He must have a name

Goodness me puppy what have you done on the floor?
I hope you're finished and there's going to be nothing more
Puppy you've piddled in at least three places
It looks like you need to be trained to do it in outdoor places
Well thank you darling now go get the mop
And take puppy outside before he finds something solid to drop
I've come up with a name with these puddles in view
We'll call him Puddles for now, it will have to do

The puddles
