Did you know that Teflon is toxic? It is also known to contribute to global warming. That's right, the stuff used to coat the pan that your cooking with could very well cause you and your family more harm then good. When Teflon is heated to temperatures of a little over 450 degrees Fahrenheit it begins to send out types of fumes similar to gas, These are deadly to birds that may be in your home. "Teflon Toxciosis" is an affliction that affects your bird in the worst way. The bird will hemorrhage and begin to fill with fluid causing suffocation. Essentially your bird drowns in its own fluids. When it is heated to a higher temperature (over 700 degrees) it begins to break down and Emmit gases and particles that are toxic to humans, some of which can be lethal.
There are 15 gases and particles in total none of which are any good. Some of these gases are found in things like nerve gas and some of the agents are proven to kill humans in even small doses. The gas C4 which is also emitted is proven to cause cancer. This is a small frying pan that is only used in short bursts to cook an omelet. It is nearly impossible in a professional setting to make an omelet, flawlessly without a "non stick" pan.
Stainless steel is "non reactive" this means that the cookware, or bowl will not react chemically to the things you are putting in it. Many foods will react with metal, for instance: if you put something acidic in a metal bowl, you will cause a chemical reaction in your food that you can
