Chloe the Fairy Rock Queen
Chloe Cassandra Clarke loved rocks. She loved little rocks and big rocks, sparkly rocks and dull rocks, grey rocks and brown muddy rocks. Chloe loved everything to do with rocks, and she loved rock music too. Chloe loved rocks so much that she collected them everyplace she went and her dad would get frustrated because she took so long picking them out and her mom did not like the rocks all over the house.
Chloe especially loved white rocks, they looked like crystals. She liked red rocks too, but she didn’t know why they were called red rocks, because they were really more pink and that made them fit for a princess. I guess you could say that Chloe Cassandra Clarke was a kind of Rock Princess or Queen. Chloe Cassandra Clark the Fairy Rock Queen; queen of all the fairies specifically in charge of rocks.
One day Chloe found lots of crystals and red rocks in her yard. Five were brown, five were blue and five were pink. Chloe the Rock Queen found one shiny crystal pink rock. It was a special rock. It was half crystal and half red rock. Wow, what could it be? A crystal? A Jewel? A fossil or a diamond or maybe, just maybe it could be a dinosaur egg!
Chloe Cassandra Clarke the Rock Queen had seen a rock like this before. She ran to her super huge rock collection. She opened her special rock collection box and pulled out a mysterious rock. It was half red rock and half black; the black side was soft and smooth and the red side looked like granite. She mulled it over; staring at it with her magnifying glass for about 60 long seconds. Chloe determined that the rock was at least half black onyx or druzy.
Chloe did what every good detective slash fairy does, with her mother’s permission of course…she Googled rocks! Helium. There it was in black and white; the rock was a lava rock! It was an obsidian igneous rock formation from the remains of a volcano! Wow. Chloe the Rock Queen was amazed that she was actually touching history in rocks!
