Poetry: Breathless

I'm starting to scare my self.
This thing is shredding me
Right to the core,

I'm starting to scare myself.
This is my last resort.

I'm starting to scare myself.
Scraping at my skin till I don't want to feel.

Take this from me,
 Leave me breathless.
I'm starting to scare myself.
Reckless self loathing, true emotion.

I'm starting to scare myself.
Cold and broken,
Leave me breathless.
Clawing at my heart till I refuse to dream.
Hold me closer,
Unpure lips and poison tongues
I'm starting to scare myself

Leave me breathless.
