Dark
Dark is the insanity
which lays in wait and plays
among the cluttered thoughts and fields of my mind
consuming in its hunger
every hope and dream that were
always hungry for a piece of mind
making ill depression stir
Dark is the nightmare of my life
filled with shadows of horror which surround me
seeming like a dream and yet it is cruel reality
adding death to schizophrenia and pain
daggers of hatred and dementia stab
to draw my blood and let it fall
like drops of burning fire alight
that none can see or feel but me
Dark are the storm clouds in my sights
drawing about as the end approaches
resolution lies in spilt blood
the gleaming blade shining under the moon
setting off the reaper's scythe
which falls to me as I accept my fate

Poetry: Dark moments
Deferred demons drag us to hell and back
To teach us a lesson we seem to lack
To teach us a lesson of right and wrong

She nearly broke down and cried
Composing herself for her early morning appointment

You're gone and I'm alone,

But no one hears the sound.
You've left without

Her mind prepared a questioning mode
Both judge and jury, this was to be a solitary show
Questions of what
Fade To Dark
Anger courses through my veins
And burns on the surface of my skin.
Visible to all it must surely be,
