The top Mega Man games

by Beltan

Only Mario or Sonic can claim to have been in more video games than the greatest robotic hero ever: Mega Man! He is the only hero who can boast he simply outlasted his greatest nemesis, the relentless Dr. Wily, who apparently died of old age! Those familiar with Mega Man (aka Rockman) and his plethora (that's right, an ENTIRE plethora) of installments have to grin even after they sigh when thinking about how many games the Blue Bomber has had, because no matter how many sequels are released, Capcom keeps exploting our weakness: Gamers love Mega Man. Unlike the gaming veterans who grew up in the eighties, newcomers won't know where to start, so I'm going to slide slide, jump jump through the plasma bullets, rocks, blades, electric, ice, fire, explosives, and just about anything else able to be compacted into a projectile and fired from an arm cannon...or from a robot's head...to give you the best of the franchise. Oops, also, you can freeze flames with Iceman's power! useful knowledge! Good music, though repetitive, has been burned into my memory permanently, but is not the best of the series. More on the music later. After you make your way across every domain and defeat the boss, for the first time you are introduced to the bad doctor himself, Wily. In order to foil his scheme (the old 'take over the world' ploy), you'll have to face the toughest challenges yet with a few domains set up to properly synergize with the familiar common enemies', but as a new step this time you have an entire arsenal of weapons to oppose them. True to form, at the end of each domain you face a new robot intent on your destruction! If you can outsmart those (and yourself!) then you earn the right to the
