Longingly I reach for it,
What everyone seems to have taken so freely,
Is just beyond my grasp.
A priceless luxury I am denied.
So I hide.
I hide my face in fear and shame.
Nothing for me will be the same.
In my dreams, I have nightmares
and in my dreams, they come for me.
Like they have for everyone before me
Who was the same.
I watched shadows cross the moon
and I knew they came.
They came and there was no help.
They came and I was alone!
They came for me, not one of them without sin themselves, with their gavels.
They were not Gods of any kind or in anyway justified to pass judgement.
Still they came, hypocrites!
They seized my soul and carelessly drug me through the streets.
Still I reached for it, I cried, begged, screamed to have it, dared to hope
that someday it would be mine.
Just a glimmer, one small spark of Salvation, would keep me from the dark.

The Darkened Beast
Amidst the golden heart there lies,
A beast that lurks unseen.

Lurks
by Dan M Myte
A grain of sand in Neverland
That no one’s eye invades
The blood pours down a single hand
Emerging from the shades
Did you ever wake up dead?
Did you ever wake up dead, and
Wonder why you were still alive?
Ever feel guilty, because you fought
My dark side resides deep within,
far away from the touching light,
staying silent until it begins,
the sunset and the arrival
