Like a poison absorbed into the soul
pain has pierced me.
Now churning in a belly of despair
somehow transforming
to a darkness from within.
This fear has stalked me before.
If I am tethered here for too long it erupts.
Quivering like a creature on her last breath,
the demon you meet within.
Downward like a sickly bird tossed from the nest,
no where to fly,
no place safe.
alone
still
trembling beneath the layers.

The Darkened Beast

A grain of sand in Neverland
That no one’s eye invades

Did you ever wake up dead?
Did you ever wake up dead, and
Wonder why you were still alive?
Ever feel guilty, because you fought
My dark side resides deep within,
far away from the touching light,
staying silent until it begins,
the sunset and the arrival
