When you get a hair cut that suits you, it can feel like you have struck gold. But the path to finding the haircut that suits you best can seem like a very long tiring one. One that is full of too short fringes and too many layers.
The key to finding your perfect hair cut is looking at your face. Take a good long look at your facial features. Study them and think about what would be the best way to flatter them. So many people still believe that finding a great haircut only relies on looking at the shape of your face. But you need to look at your whole face in order to find the right hair cute for you.
Eyes.
If you have big or striking eyes then you should choose a haircut that flatters them. This will make the most of them. There are many different styles that you can choose.
You could try a style with a fringe. Whether it is blunt, wispy or side swept, a fringe (or bangs) will make the most of your beautiful eyes. If you are having a blunt fringe then make sure that it sits just above your eye brows. Any lower than this and the fringe will hide your eyes rather than draw attention to them.
If you are having a side swept fringe then be sure to keep it tucked or pinned back so it does not fall onto your face and hide your eyes.
Choose a style with flicks that are near your temples and the top of your cheekbones. This will emphasise your eyes and your bone structure.
Cheek bones.
If you have well defined cheek bones and want to show them off, or you want to add some definition to your cheek bones, then try a choppy style with lots of flicks. These will help to highlight your bone structure.
Alternatively, you can try a style with lots of layers that are brushed forward onto your face. This is only recommended if you have good cheek bones already.
Lips.
Believe it or not, a hair cut can help define your lips! If you want to draw attention to beautiful lips then make sure you pick a style that has flicks around the bottom of your face. This will help to emphasise your lips.
You can also try a style with layers at the bottom of your face that are brushed forwards.
