The shadows that surround, reach and grab at me
they feel so very cold with a close familiarity
They may be part of who I am, when I'm feeling sad
Or maybe they are memories from when life was bad,
They pull at my soul and grip at my heart
They play with my mind destroying the nicer part
These shadows are so evil and they stay within my reach
growing on my energy, feeding like the leach
They make me grow so angry like a part of me has died
I fear these Shadow's awakened my dark side

The Darkened Beast

A grain of sand in Neverland
That no one’s eye invades
The blood pours down a single hand
Emerging from the shades
Did you ever wake up dead?
Did you ever wake up dead, and
Wonder why you were still alive?
Ever feel guilty, because you fought
My dark side resides deep within,
far away from the touching light,
staying silent until it begins,
the sunset and the arrival
