Poetry: Clouds

by Ronnie Reese

Created on: September 09, 2010

As you look into the clouds

What do you see?

Animals, faces, flowers

Portentous signs or things of beauty?

Floating aimlessly in the sky

Their gentle passage catches the eye,

As we look Heavenward to things above

Our lives our touched with the Father’s love.

Whether stratus, cumulous, or cirrus

Each speaks to the inner man,

Of inner potentials within the heart

And of a greater plan.

Yes, what do we see in the Heavens?

What do we see in our fellow man?

A reflection of our innermost thoughts?

Or could it be the Heavenly plan?
