When it comes to searching for something on the Internet, the name Google comes first to the minds of most people. However, the most famous website in the world is not the only one that provides search facilities to everyone. The two other major websites that provides similar services are Bing and Yahoo. Here is a guide to the different search engines mentioned.
Google as the most popular search engine has the simplest interface and presentation for its home page. There is only a rectangular box for you to enter your search string or keywords and two buttons below the box. One button entitled "Google Search" is the most commonly used button. The other button entitled "I'M Feeling Lucky" is not so popular. You may be wondering why in the world the button is there in the first place. The links are arranged in such a manner that the page does not look overcrowded. The links include a link to a page where you can look for images, a link to a page where you can look for videos, and a link to a page where you can look for maps.
