Reusable shopping bags should be used instead of the other non-biodegradable materials to save the earth from further pollution. To protect the earth from the side effects of non-biodegradable materials and since there are no other means to degrade materials like plastics and are posing a threat to the earth. In order to avoid the accumulation of the plastics which are a long chain of polymer and cannot be degraded, it is better to go for reusable bags. Reusable bags should be made in wide varieties so that it attracts the people and everyone starts using it. The bags made of polythene are usually used and thrown which are not reused. These bags when thrown in dust bins are burned which causes a lot of pollution.

To save the earth one should RECYCLE, REUSE AND REDUCE. The materials of reusable bags can be used and made into a new one rather than disposing. Bags made of non-recycling materials cannot be disposed of safely and cause pollution to soil and ground water. Large scale decomposing of non-recyclable material is done by dumping them by digging holes in the ground or sometimes in seawater. Disposal in sea water causes harm to the aquatic life. The non-biodegradable waste which cannot be disposed remain as it is and will turn into other by-products when combined with any metal or chemicals. The reaction between the particles of non-biodegradable material and soil causes a lot of changes in the texture and fertility of soil which in turn can cause harm to the crops.

Reusable bags should be used by each and everyone. All the people should create Environmental Awareness among people by promoting reusable bags and reducing the burden of pollution. Plastics should be banned and fined if used by anyone. Environmental issues are creating panic around the world. So eco-friendly things should be promoted on a large scale. Reusable bags are durable and cheap. Reusable bags cause no harm to the environment and they can be degraded when disposed off whereas plastic and paper bags accumulate in landfills and causing harm to air, water and land by polluting various components of the atmosphere. Plastic bags are not durable, they get torn easily and the cost of recycling is also very high.

There are various advantages of using reusable bags: they are made of cheap material, biodegradable, chemical resistant, can be recycled easily, cheap to buy, usage of minimum chemicals, that make them Eco-friendly.
