For small or medium business (with a set advertisement budget), choosing a right advertisement agency has become a challenging task. 1. Do your home work
Check the references. Don’t rely solemnly on the testimonials from agency’s front page - review their current clients and contact them to find out customer’s opinion. Read the agency’s blog. If it does not have one – search the web for honest reviews. Since you are going to entrust your future business’ success, reputation and probably considerable sum of money to advertisement agency – you should be certain that they are dependable. It does not mean that you must dismiss a new company just because they have no established tracking record; but if you decided to go with one – pay extra attention to details.
2. Don’t assume anything
Read the contract – no matter how obvious it is to you – always have it in writing. For example you paid for a thousand clicks per month and because your business is a Beauty salon you assumed that web traffic would be local and hits from Japan should not be counted. Check their website – if they have poor or no page rating it should be a red flag to you – what kind of Advertisement Company is that if they cannot promote their own business. If their website is easy to navigate, delivers clear message, calls for action and in general grabs your attention – then you may believe that this company has enough talent and knowledge to deliver a similar result for your business.
