Testimonies: Being a conscious empath

by Lynn Campbell

Created on: September 07, 2010

I have been searching for answers all my life as to why I feel like I do and also how I know things others don't.

The articles I have been reading have helped to make me feel a lot more sure. I am an empath that lives a very secluded life. I am only just starting to draw bubbles around myself to protect myself from others emotions. Ever since I was very very small I have done things out of sheer belief that what I felt was right. Many times rescuing others from situations. Knowing when someone is pregnant before they do. Until recently I couldn't figure out why I ended up in situations that were not of my choice.

We are now experiencing severe seismic activity and the feelings have thrown me totally of balance. Being in a small country there is not a lot of information about this. I want to know more about it and also how to explain it to others so they can learn what it is they are feeling doesn't necessarily mean it is coming from them. My doctor wanted to put me on anti-depressants, they have a couple of times now but I have known its not me that was depressed but the people around me. It is extremely hard to live with the roller coaster affect of other especially in a family unit. Is there a way of living normally as such and being wide open to everything going on around you. I like the feelings I get, I just don't want the extreme baggage of others. Learning to understand this phenomena is even harder. Expressing it is worse.

The seismic activity is a new one on me I don't have any balance as such at the moment but I also know that its a long way from over. Sort of like a preview to what is to come. Is there any documented cases of this and how do we find them.

I would also like to know if anyone can help me to learn the potential from this gift, as it is a gift. Although some may feel it a curse. You can help others by redirecting the energy you feel into positive feelings for those around you. Animals benefit, people definitly benefit from it, you just have to send out positive thoughts, when encountering negative people. Being in a crowd is a little bit harder to deal with. But we don't always have positive thoughts and I wanted to ask if there are others who struggle with the on, of ,switch of these emotions. It can be exhausting learning to live with these emotions but the one thing I have learnt recently is you can put yourself in a projected bubble. You just can't stay in it, hence the need for people to learn more about this and its potential.
