How to write an inspirational vision statement

The vision one possesses is the heavenly plan for one's life here on Earth. It is the reason one was born and it shows the end result of taking the necessary steps to live life outwardly in a manner that compliments what you have seen internally.  The bible says in the book of Habakkuk 2:2," Write the vision , make it plain upon tables, that he may run that reads it". Vision is that divine aspect of life that separates human beings from all other living beings and it also gives each individual person uniqueness. Every person has a different outlook on life, a different purpose and a different destiny the vision we have inside us is mental expression that defines what our life should and could be.  This verse of scripture reveals to us that the vision is what God speaks to us concerning our life individually and circumstantially. So the vision is given to help us live a divinely ordered life in order to solve problems caused by not living in this manner.

The vision is real to us because we can see it and feel. It is so real it can cause us to feel stressed, it can keep our mind racing and even keep us awake at night. Therefore we must write the vision in order to explain it to others.Writing the vision makes it visible. The vision can only become real to others. The written vision conveys and defines what one feels in words others can understand. The vision statement gives direction to the inspiration one has toward a particular area of life. The written vision helps the individual, supporters and entities created by it see where they are going. This is necessary to formulate personal and organizational goals, missions and objectives.

Although it drives us emotionally and inspires us we must make it understandable to others. We are experiencing and feeling the power of this vision .It is impossible to make others feel what we feel because it is our vision. The statement must be made in simplified terms so that others can grasp its concepts and comprehend its importance. Don't use swelling words to sound impressive because complexity causes misinterpretation and confusion. The vision statement should be written in a way that is prominently displayed and expressed so it can be seen and read. The message should be interesting and exciting to truly motivate those who comprehend its message.

The vision statement should be written to inspire and attract other like minded individuals. No vision can be accomplished alone and a vision always benefits a select groups of people who identify, believe and support it. These are not steps but very important ingredients in writing a vision statement. A vision can not be expressed by a systematic ordering of words it should be crafted based upon more intangible and immaterial language. If you can fit your vision in a few steps it is not a vision. A real vision is so immense that it must be revealed in stages, it evolves and unfolds as progressive action begins to take shape.
