Women have always loved to have long hair, but with long hair being high maintence they often stick to shorter hair styles. When hair is unhealthy it will lead to breakage and slow down the growth cycle. However, there are many secrets out on the internet on how to grow healthy, long hair the natural way and avoid hair extensions which only lead to more hair breakage in the future. Here are some of the best tips on how to grow your hair long the natural way.

1.) Increase the amount of iron in the diet:

The best way to get hair to grow long and healthy would be to increase the amount of iron in the diet. Iron helps nutrient oxygen blood reach the roots of the hair strands to make sure the hair will grow in a healthy manner without all the breakage. If you want to know if you are getting enough iron in your diet you could always pay a visit to your doctor and they can tell you if you need to make any changes to your diet.

2.) Deep condition the hair:

To keep hair smooth and tangle free it would be best that you would take the time to deep condition the hair at least every three days. Then when you deep condition your hair take the time to run a wooden wide tooth comb through the hair with the deep condition in it for at least three minutes to make sure the conditioner is set evenly.

3.) Apply olive oil to the hair:

Olive oil is famous for its benefits that will never let anbody down. The best way to apply olive oil to the hair would be to use a couple of drops and apply it evenly to the hair. The reason why one should only use a couple of drop of olive oil to hair is because the oil can make hair look weighed down and oily.

 4.) Forget the hair dryer:

Nothing damages hair faster than the hair dryer so it would be best to avoid using one at all cost. Also it helps to avoid any other product that uses heat to prevent breakage from taking place or worse split ends. However, if you must use a heat based styling product be sure to use a product that can prevent damage from taking place to your hair.
