Magick, some say it is manipulating nature. Other’s claim it is controlling the elements. Some even go as far as to say that Magick is a power given to us by spirit at birth to do as we pleased. Magick is everything and it is nothing. Magick is what we are and it is who we are. It reflects our true spirits without make-up. It is raw, terrifying power that is just as chaotic as nature is.  Never given to us, it had always been there, even before our mothers conceived us.

Have you ever had terrifying moments where you have felt like you could rule the world? Had to do something physical to get pent up energy out of you? That is what it feels like when Magick has been left to remain un-developed or in a continued position of disuse (i.e. you’ve only preformed one spell but stopped doing spells for a long period of time). Magick is something we cannot control, but we can guide. Witchcraft is the guidance of Magic. We point that raw power in the direction we choose and believe that it will make it to its destination.

Some people like to think Magick is something good and something light. I am here to shake my head in disagreement. Magick is never ‘good’ neither is it ‘light’. Magick is chaos incarnate. You are the good person; you temper with chaos incarnate and live to tell the tale. You are the person who jumps into the pools of temptations and arise completely unperturbed.

Those who dwell within their fantasy dreams tend to think that Magick means involving the physical manipulation of the elements. No, that is kinesis. A completely different phenomenon not even related to Magick. Magick is an invisible, chaotic force of probability. Should you point it in the direction of ‘I want a Job’ then set the infrastructure and link. Probability shall be tempered with.

                Magick is the source of Chaos, the source of our power. Everything a witch performs could be related to Magick. Our Prophetic dreams, some say are the cause of the spirit tempering with Magick and receiving pieces of the future in return. Our spells outcomes, Karma and even our connections with the deities are formed with Magick. Can only witches use Magick? No, witches are classified as ‘conduits’ for Magic. We are like a system of light bulbs and cords. We channel the current in a continuous circle. I say circle because of Karma’s involvement. The current has to close and can only be done so once it’s returned to the sender. After that, the Witch may change and hook up the cords differently to form a new way of channeling the current to a different destination.
